Farming for Real

Want to get hands-on with our animals and learn a few things? We would be happy to teach you how to vaccinate & drench sheep or trim alpaca feet. We also teach you fencing, pruning or the marketing and business side of farming. Come when we lamb, kid and calf and help with tagging and marking! There is always something to do.

What to bring/wear:

Depending on weather dress for a changing Gippsland climate!
Wear your old clothes, gloves and boots.
Jill enjoys cooking so just bring along some water and you will be well looked after during your stay.

Weekend Learning Packages can also be arranged, which would include accommodation and additional meals.

Packages can focus on farming sheep, lambing, cattle, chickens, improving pasture, regenerative agriculture strategies, fencing and gate hanging, farm safety, welding, building and general farm maintenance.
